Your driver or guide will pick you up from the nearby hotels and transport you by tuk-tuk to the scenic rural Hiriwadunna village in Habarana city. A trip in a bullock cart to the village pond kicks off the adventure. After that, you will travel across the small settlement by boat. A quick walk across the paddy and vegetable fields will bring you to the village house. Enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan lunch while relaxing at the village house.
Next, take a Tuk Tuk to the beginning of the tour. A tuk-tuk will return you to your accommodation after the tour is over.

Hotel pickup by Tuk-tuk
A tuk-tuk will pick you up from your accommodation and transport you to the beginning of the hike. You have a great opportunity to take pictures of the roadside attractions and enjoy the natural breeze when using tuk-tuk transfers.
Bullock cart ride
This excursion typically starts with a ride in a bullock cart through undiscovered village tracks to Hiriwadunna. The ride lasts between ten and twenty minutes, with two bulls pulling the cart. Rides come to a finish close to Hiriwadunna Lake, where you get off the cart and board a catamaran.
Catamaran Boat ride
Hiriwadunna Lake is the location of a catamaran boat trip. You will cruise while taking in the breathtaking sights of the Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks in addition to the lake. You can join the boatman and assist with rowing the boat if you’re interested. He might astound you with his artistry and skill, creating a lovely lotus necklace for women and a hat for men. The boat will dock near the small village on the opposite side of the shore at the conclusion of the excursion.
Village house activity demongstration

Cooking demongstration
A simple traditional meal made by a village woman using the farmer’s hand-picked veggies from the plot is available. If you have time, you can also see a village woman prepare a roti or other traditional dish.
Local buffet lunch
Lunch will be a buffet consisting of freshly fried fish, six classic Sri Lankan curries, and perfectly cooked rice. Additionally, you will be provided a green salad and crisp papadum, which are essentially mainstays of both Indian and Sri Lankan dishes. Woven platters covered in immaculate lotus leaves will be used to serve your food. In the traditional way, your food will be cooked over wood fires and in clay pots. You may take your time exploring the village after the relatively leisurely meal.

Dessert: Watalappan or seasonal cut fruits, curd, and trickle
Tuk-tuk ride to start point
You will ride a tuk-tuk a few miles back to Habarana, the main road, after the village visit.
Hotel drop-off
After that, take a tuk-tuk back to your accommodation.
